Dani & Scott – A Wedding at Stokesay Castle

Dani & Scott’s special day started with a beautiful service at St. Ignatius Loyola Parish in Sinking Springs. As the service ended a pair of traditional Scottish bag pipers serenaded the couple as they walked down the aisle.

After photos at the church taken by James with Cucinotta Images we headed to the reception at Stokesay Castle. They had a fun party with sound provided by our friend Sean Shipper with The Party Express DJs.

Dani is a cheerleader with the Philadelphia Eagles and many of her cheerleader friends came to the wedding to celebrate her special day.

In a very cool surprise the reception had a visit from Swoop, the Eagles Mascot.

Our congratulations to the happy couple!

A Wintherthur Wedding

Friday the 13th may sound like an odd day for a wedding, but Bernard and Pam proved that old superstitions are just that by having an amazing day. We were very happy they choose us as their wedding videographers.

Our day started with Bernard and his groomsmen getting ready at Hotel DuPont right in the heart of downtown Wilmington, DE.  After a few challenges, especially with handkerchiefs (who knew folding those things was so difficult??) the guys were ready to head to the St Margaret of Scotland Church in Newark, DE.

After a special service the bridal party and guests headed over to the Winterthur Museum for the reception. The cocktail hour was held near the reflecting pool where guests could wander through the gardens with the mansion providing an amazing backdrop.

The flowers made for some great photo opportunities and Misty Dawn with Misty Dawn Photography did a great job taking full advantage of the amazing location and weather. We worked with Misty before and highly recommend her work.

After the photos and cocktail hour were done it was time for dinner and the party to begin. Music was provided by Matthew Ostroff with EBE Entertainment

Jenn & Mike’s Wedding at Penn Oaks

The ceremony was officiated by Kelly Fuddy with  Journeys of the Heart with music provided by Cherrywood String Ensembles followed by a quick outdoor photo session with photographer for the day Rodney Cool with Aesthetic Life Studio.
The food was great, Christina Massicotte and Lisa Brewster with Penn Oaks did an excellent  job coordinating the food service. The cake was baked by Master Baker in West Chester. In a nice coincidence, We met the owner of Master Baker at a bridal show we participated in the next day in Royersford, PA.
After all the formalities it was time for the party to begin! Sean Shipper and Nick Moyer with Party Express DJs provided both lighting and entertainment for the evening. Between the games, music, and dancing it was a fun night for all.

Congrats to the happy couple!!

Bridal Show At Penn Oaks Golf Club

This past Saturday we attended our first Bridal Show!! It was held at Penn Oaks Golf Club in West Chester.

It was a fun experience for all of us, we met a lot of nice people.  We hope a few of the brides we met with will choose us as videographers for their upcoming weddings.

Brides and fellow vendors alike it was a good day. Our next door neighbor was George Plumley who runs Amazing Times Photo Booths. They were a hit and we hope to help them with some advertising needs. Our other neighbor was Christopher Chocolates who kept us well fed during the three-hour show.

We also chatted with two photographers we have not had the opportunity to work with yet. Robert Wood of Robert Wood Photography out of Glen Mills and Howie Hartman of Double H Photography. We also visited with Jennifer Dooling with Travel Services Company because it’s always good to know someone in the travel business. Almost time to plan that next vacation :)

Based on this experience we plan to do some future shows. Hopefully we will see you there!!

Erin & Rob December 4, 2010

Congrats to Erin & Rob who celebrated their marriage earlier this month! Erin is a good friend of mine so I was a guest. Our videographer Joe Kelly shot the event and did a great job.

The event was held at Valley Forge Military Academy. It’s a great venue with a very pretty chapel and a reception hall nearby. If your looking for a venue where you can have a big church wedding but still be within walking distance of your reception this is the spot for you. Erin decided to have the reception hall professionally lit which makes a big difference in the appearance of any reception venue. Synergetic Sounds and Lighting did an amazing job making the room look very festive. I can’t recommend having professional lighting enough. Not only does it make the room look amazing but it makes the photos and video look even better!

The other thing Erin did right was to hire a wedding planner. Erin Proud of Proud to Plan did a great job organizing all the vendors and keeping things on schedule. As the bride will I’m sure attest, having a planner takes a lot of the stress out of the wedding day.

DJ for the evening was Jon Gill and Photographer Joe Capasso captured some pretty awesome pictures of the happy couple.

Jackie & Andy’s Vow Renwal

What another great October day! As I was driving up to The Loft at Sweet Water Country Club for Jackie and Andy’s vow renewal I traveled along route 29 which took me through Collegeville, Schwenksville and along the Perkiomen Creek. The fall foliage was breathtaking and I ended up pulling over to take a few pictures of the river with the changing leaves.

The golf course was equally beautiful with fall colors in the distance making for a great day. Jackie and Andy married last August but Andy had to return to duty overseas and the didn’t have the opportunity to have a nice formal wedding service and reception. They made up for it today for sure with an emotion filled outdoor service and a fun party after. The Loft at Sweet Water Country Club is a very nice event venue in a very well restored barn with a good sized outdoor area for ceremonies.

We got some great video working with photographer Kristen Littlefield and had a great time at the party with DJ Joey from Sonic Sound Productions

Best of luck to the happy couple!
